If I end up staying with a relative can my parents try to bring me back home even if I don't want to come back?

  1. You are 16, and the courts will likely go along with your decision for yourself as to where you live.

    Your parents can ask you to leave and go to a relatives how, but they can not force you to so, unless you are a run-away...or if you are acting out a lot, they can bring Social Services into the picture, and then if you are a problem, or the parents are abusive, or neglectful...

    you could be placed in a foster home.

    If things are abusive to you at home, consider the above options.

    If you are just wanting special privledges, consider that you'll get to do whatever you want in less than 3 years out on your own';

    plus there are going to be rules for you wherever you go until age 18.

    Do you really want to alienate your parents now?

    Ask yourself, if the wiser choice would be to have fewer priviledges for now, so that you can have your parents as allies, and helpers for all the rest of your life when you'll need them.  And you will need help...everyone does.

  2. only if they get you emancipated and it is legalized by a court/judge.

  3. ........wht did you do to make them want to kick you out of the house???......

  4. Yeah.  What the h**l did you do to make them want to kick you out?  I'm not sure if it's legal for them to just kick you out.  Then can however have you sent to juvie or foster care.  Which is a lot worst.  I suggest you beg their forgiveness and straighten your a-s out!
