  1. h**l yeah GO VOLS

  2. As long as the operator is not drinking and the drinkers are of legal age, no problem.

  3. the person who is not supposed to drink s the operator, right? but in case the boat is stopped for inspection (or in case an accident happens) and a sheriff/officer finds booze (or even beer) it turns to be very unhappy incident for all (also a blood sample might get the operated clear...but why risk it?) I don't allow alcohol on the boat (except for sealed 6 packs we take for the other end of the ride...)

  4. I believe I'm correct in saying that inTennessee, you can be charged with public intoxication or Boating Under the Influence by Game and Fish Officers. If you're of legal age, you can have open containers while boating but you'd best have all your equipment in order and be a sober acting individual if stopped. They take you to the nearest dock where city or county officers will haul you bathing suit clad butt off to jail and ruin a nice day at the lake. Find a friend with a houseboat and get faced there! I know of a dad that accidentally killed his daughter last summer in a BUI accident. Don't take chances...it isn't worth it!

  5. Persons onboard pleasure craftARE permitted to comsume alcohol, but not while actively operating the boat.

    HOWEVER

All persons aboard are subject to local and state alcohol laws AND any pertaining fish and boat laws

In PA 1st offense Boating while intox can be up to1 year in jail with $5000.00 fine and loss of operators privleges for up to 5 yrs
