Question:

Is it legal in utah to own a captive bred Gila Monster?

I know in some states it's legal and others it's illegal, but I haven't been able to find further info, so does anyone know where utah stands on this issue?

  1. i live in utah you have to have licensereptile licence and its like in california you cant have a california king snake with out the licence


  2. you can possess exotic animals with a special license but for the gila monster no. not because it is exotic but because it is endangered and that is a no where ever you live.

  3. you'd better check out ur city ordinances, here in ohio it is allowed

  4. You may check your city ordinances. Here in Texas, they are legal in the state but most cities have laws against venomous reptiles. You can find your city's website by going to google.com and typing in your city and state.
