Is it legal to buy pregnancy test kits here in ABu Dhabi, UAE?

would they require proof that you are married before you can buy pregnancy test kits?

you can buy pregnancy test kit from any pharmacy. absolutely no prerequisite of being married or taking a proof of ur marriage

Of course you can buy pregnancy tests and of course you do not need proof of being married.

Like you also can buy the birth controll pill or condoms without being married.

In case you are pregnant and single, please go home as soon as possible and not to a doc. Especially not in Abu Dhabi.

u can buy them no problem but do not go to a doctor if ur not married go to yr home country.  i worked for a lawyers in dubai and a british girl was handcuffed in hospital as she gave birth without being married.

Dear Friend,

Nothing illegal in this,

No need to produce any documents (that stating you are married) at the pharmacy for purchasing the pregnancy test strips/kits in Abu Dhabi.

You may able to purchase any kind of contraceptives from pharmacy here in Abu Dhabi without producing any documents.

But, if you found that you are pregnant, and if you are not married, just leave the country, even without visiting a doctor in UAE. It will lead to immediate deportation.

Yes, you can buy and no one will ever ask for a proof of marriage. Walk up calmly and ask nonchalantly where are they if you can't find them. Don't get nervous. While nobody will surely ask you, the possibility grows if you look really worried and nervous and as if hiding something illegal.
