Is it legal to buy stuff on ebay and sell it in my shop?

There are a lot of items on ebay that you just cant get anymore? Is it legal to buy branded stuff, old and new, on ebay and sell them to customers in my shop?

  2. would think its just retail. so no problem if your a retailer. no different to buying from another supplier to retail.

  3. Be very cautious, there are a lot of counterfeits on e-bay and if the seller disappears you are left holding the can.

    Also electrical goods, you need some guarantee of safety, and , as said above, the buyer has Sale of Goods Act rights (not just warranty) and you have to deal with faulty goods, you can't just refer them back to the E-Bayer.

  5. h**l, yes. That's what trade is about - you buy it and then sell it. Source doesn't really matter.

  6. as long as its not sold on as brand new i think its allright , you do have to give warranties when you sell items , if it goes faulty can you send it back to the ebayer?

  7. Yes you can legally do it, providing there are no laws affecting the item which would affect the sale. Lots of people do it for various reasons. Obviously you have to state the condition of items if used.
