Is it legal to carry a Mac 10 semi automatic machine pistol in SC with a concealed weapons permit?

Where can I find more information on which types of weapons are legal to carry with a concealed weapons permit. I think it has to be less than 12 inches... but does this include a suppressor if I have the permit to own a suppressor as well. Any help is appreciated and lets not get into a discussion of why I would need to carry these weapons... I'm only curious, thanks. John

If you have a concealed carry permit you were provided with the rules and regs at the time you applied

If not look up your state firearms laws

Suppressors are generally not legal for CCW

You can carry a loaded Mac-10 concealed if you have a concealed weapons permit. I have one in my car. Several 30 round mags of 45ACP gives you the upper hand in any gun fight.

Even though suppressors are legal federally there is no such thing as a permit to own or carry a suppressor, unless this is something unique to your state.

“Concealable weapon” means a firearm having a length of less than twelve inches measured along its greatest dimension that must be carried in a manner that is hidden from public view in normal wear of clothing except when needed for self defense, defense of others, and the protection of real or personal property.

The suppressor would be part of the weapon when attached.

Not mentioning the fact that no semi-automatic machine pistol exists (machine pistol implies it is fully automatic), concealed weapons permits are defined by each state.  Mine, as an example, allows me to carry almost any legally obtainable firearm, as long as it can be concealed under all circumstances, excluding use.  If someone sees it, and feels threatened by it, and then calls the police, I can be arrested, fined, lose my license, and even do jail time.  Best bet, check with a firearms instructor, or better yet,an attorney (no lawyer jokes please).
