Is it legal to change the registered name on a windows PC?

Someone else registered my PC, but the didn't spell correctly so I had to go back in and change the name. I have a Vista and it the idea didn't occur to me until now. What do you all say?

yea. If its your pc you can change the name. Its only what shows up as your pcs name by other programs.
