Is it legal to climb a water tower?

And why would someone want to climb one? LOL

its not illegal if you dont get caught, otherwise its called crimanal tresspassing its a misdemeanor,  about 3 notches below first time offences drinking and driving.         why would someone climb it?  probably because there arent any radio towers nearby.

Normally a water tower is the property of the municipality wherein it is located.  Climbing it is considered trespassing, UNLESS you get permission first.

As for why:  The same reason as climbing K2, Everest, The Sears Tower, i.e. because it is there and you can.  lol

That would be pretty hard to climb a water tour. If it is not owned by the government or privatley. GO with my blessing...... go for it. don't fall and die. I am not responsible for you're actions, nor can i be held liable.

it is legal to climb a water tower if you own it or are employed by a repair company to repair it. Other than that I do not know why anyone would like to climb one. I can stay at home and climb a latter just will not get the same view as from the water tower.

Doubt it. Someone's property; like climbing someone's house without premisson.  Get it? And why: thrill seeking?
