Is it legal to drive in your own parking lot without a license or permit?

I was going to get my permit tomorrow but I can't find my birth certificate, but my dad is still willing to teach me. Is it legal to drive in my parking lot? It's a private lot, but it's huge.

You can drive on your own property, you only need permit to drive in public

make sure you have a skilled driver with you though.

On your own private property - yes you can do whatever you want with the car.  Driver's license is for PUBLIC hwy (and street)
