"Fetch".  There's a term I haven't heard applied to stocks and financial matters.  I can't imagine what would be illegal about it.  What country are you refering to??

It should be ok.  After all, all the info that you're getting is "free" data, vs. a paid feed.

During the day, you get delayed quotes which is widely available for free from a variety of sources.
