Is it legal to have a 13 year old sleeping in the garage ?

I want to know if it is legal to have a 13 year old sleeping in the garage and a 10 year old sharing a room with his 2 1/2 year old sister? They live in mountain view ca if that is any help

There are a lot of parents who are homeless who have there kids living in cars with them.  So I would say yes. They could be living in worse places.

Legal yes but a child of 10 must have his own room, it is illegal for a child over 10 to share a room with a same s*x sibling.

As long as the house is not condemned or a heath hazard, it is legal.

you would have to have air conditioning installed before they move into it or it could lead to heat exaustion,heat stroke,or child neglect charges
