Is it legal to have a pet Hummingbird if it is where do you get one?

Yeah dont know really how to get one I have seen pics of people with humming bird feeders and if you put you hand underneath of the feeder and wait until on appears and sits it may perch its self on your finger. There kind of cool. I dont know if it really works but in the pics it showed people with little humming birds on their fingers....

No, it is not legal to keep a wild hummingbird as a pet.  Almost all wild birds are protected by law.  Here in the US they are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.  Similar laws exist in other countries.  Yes, some species are endangered.  We don't have any here in the US that are, but there are several species in Central and South America that are. I know Ecador has about 9 species that are endangered.  Look here for more info:

  3. Normally you need to have a permit to possess wild animals of any kind.  I don't think it's a good idea to keep a hummingbird in captivity, it will likely die.

  4. ya they r endangerd if u find one that needs help or some care call the animal shelter , and if the police finds u have a pet hummingbird then you might go to jail or pay a lot of cash
