Depends what your local law says is the minimum age for leaving a child at home unsupervised.

There is no requirement from a schooling p.o.v. for you to be there all the time but there may be an age at which leaving her home alone is illegal, regardless of whether she is doing virtual schooling or anything else.

As the others said, check your state laws. However, if you have to operate under an "umbrella" or "cover" school, be sure to check with their rules as well. Some do not allow children to be self-educated alone at home even in the higher teen years.

Depends on your state's guidelines.  Please check into them.  You will also need to provide a good deal of social and educational outlets for her while you are at work, etc.   Are you certain that your daughter is capable of minding herself adequately for long periods of time?
