Is it legal to keep swimming out to the ocean after the Life Guard is screaming for you to come back?

  2. I think if someone with the title of "Life Guard" is screaming at me to do something, I would listen.

  3. I would think that a sanctioned lifeguard has authority to tell you to come back in matters of safety.  I think it unlikely that they're going to go after you and pull you from the water, unless they see you are already in trouble.  They're too busy protecting the other people who have common sense.

    However, if you do get in trouble, assuming that they see you, the authorities won't be happy with you when you're hauled in.

  4. yeah but your risking a huge chance of drowning, so not a smart idea.

  5. If you swim too far out, you cannot be saved in case something happens.  Please swim close to shore for your own safety.

  6. It's not illegal, but it's also not the Life Guard's responsibility to save you if you drown.....and you can get kicked off the beach for violating the community rules.
