Is it legal to kill raccoons that come into your backyard in Canada?

You could trap it in  a cage trap and then take it a few miles away and release it.

no it is illegal to kill them... you have to call animal control

It's illegal to kill a raccoon. it's wild life so you can't kill it. Have a nice day.

I dunno, they may be on your property but they still are "wild life" and you could be charged. You should check this with the town hall.

It's not a matter of Canada. It's a matter of your local regulations. Even if it's allowed then it can be very dangerous.
