  1. Um, no, it's not legal...but where would you get a panda from anywhere, lol.

Go to China and catch one, and hide it.  Nobody will ever know.

  2. Ha no

  3. No...and assuming you are speaking of the Giant Panda

Since there are so few captive pandas, the Chinese government has officially banned hunting them and only rarely permits their export. The panda remains one of the world's most mysterious creatures, nearly as baffling a subject of investigation in captivity as it is when free.

The giant pandas remote and nearly inaccessible HImalayan habitat and the protection provided by the Chinese government safeguard it from hunters guns. Signicificant studies of pandas in the wild does not exist. Almost all scientific knowledge of their behavior has of necessity been based on observations of captive animals in zoos.

Red Pandas are classified as endangered. No reliable numbers exist for the total population but it is very threatened due to the fragmentation of its natural habitats, their small numbers, and their food specialization needs.

Some cool Red Panda Bear facts! Both Panda Bear species are classified as “Carnivore”; even though everyone knows the Giant Panda Bear primarily eats Bamboo. The Red Panda eats primarily bamboo, fruits, grasses, roots, and young tender sprouts, but will opportunistically eat bugs and animal protein when available.

Like the Giant Panda Bear that everyone is familiar with, the Red Panda is also an internationally “Protected Species”. The Red Panda, or Lesser Panda, (Ailurus fulgens) is on APPENDIX 2 of CITES (Convention International Trade of Endangered Species).
