(Why do I suspect that you are trying to find a loophole to avoid a speeding ticket you received from an officer running RADAR from such a location?)

No, there is no stopping allowed on highways except for an emergency.  Even so, once the state patrol saw the vehicle they would mark it, and at the 24 hour mark it would be towed.
