Is it legal to prank call a buisness in the state of Florida?

I was planning on prank calling a Pet Supermarket in my area, and I heard that it was illigal. Is it possible to get arrested for this? What about talking about illigal acts during a prank call? How easy is it to track your call and will they press charges? Will *67 completly hide me or can the Law still track me?

It can possibly rise to harassment depending on how much you do it, and what you actually say.

*67 just blocks you from caller id, but the authorities can easily track you.

Why don't you go out and play ball, or get a video game, or g-d forbid read a book.

its absolutly illegal to do this i used to prank call florida at least 50 to 60 times i day when they caught me i got hemmed up in the klink for 25 years without no possibility of probation i just got out last month let me tell you call any state but florida

Prank calls are a form of harassment. Harassment is illegal. Your calls can be traced if a complainant pursues charges.

It is illegal to dial a number randomly. To get around it flick through a phone book and choose your target. You can then legally call that number and talk random stuff down the line, as if your were talking to them in person. Just dont break any other laws by threatening to kill, rape, take them hostage etc... Keep it legal and keep yourself safe.
