  1. That would be regulated by local laws and the rules of the owner of the parking lot.

  2. Umm I am not sure, they still do it in the cities here all of the time.. ask someone in your state and county offices if you want to know each state or countys maybe different..

  3. The Laws differ from County to county & State to State, In Texas It may be legal to place bills on cars, But Both the Placer & the Owner of those Handbills, are Liable for Damages to their vehicle as well as LITTER Laws if enforced. For example; That 5 cent paper could end up costing THOUSANDS in Fines & Damages.

  4. the loser that touches MY CAR GETS BEANED!

  5. It depends on where you're doing it. I've seen postings in different parking lots and such that explicitly forbid the act under the guise of trespassing and littering laws. I suppose if there are no such postings and there are no state or local laws against it, then it is alright from a legal standpoint.

    It's still annoying though.

  6. i dunno but people do it all the time so i guess you can give it a shot.

  7. I think that it is definitely a grey area. I don't think it is classy to do it and I judge the businesses for that fact. But theoretically you could damage the window wiper. Most likely those flyers end up in the trash. Also you could set off car alarms. And it the advertising you do get in is often a bad one.

  8. well i have... ive never seen any police remove papers from a car so i believe it is legal, yet annoying.

P.S. if you are gonna do this make the paper exactly the size of the front window with extremely large font. this way they cant ignore

  9. i think its fine unless you harm the persons car.

  10. I don't know...but I have to say that it has to be if they keep doing it.

Unless you say HEY get the F>!# away from my windshield!!  Then really not much you can get them on...maybe a fine for littering.

    I know it's annoying huh!!

  11. that depends . if its a public or private parking lot .

  12. I've been all over the country, and I've seen it done everywhere.

Some places might have ordinances against it, but I doubt anything would come of it, other than the authorities telling you "Don't do that!"

    LOL.

  13. Do it anyways who cares its just a piece of paper
