Is it legal to ship an airsoft AEG to Des Plaines IL?

I know it's illegal in some places of Illinois, and I just wanted to be on the safe side.

I'm in California, so I can't check the laws at anywhere there.

And I'm having trouble finding laws online

  1. I've shipped plenty of AEG's to Illinois.  As long as they have the orange tip it's ok.  Where and how you use it is a different story.......
