Obviously it's secure, i've got very strong rope and it'll be attached through my windows and tied to something else to make sure it's totally secure.

  1. I think you will find it will be up to a traffic policeman to make an on the spot decision as to safety of load and transporting on a public highway.

normally they are pretty decent about it if they can clearly see it is FULLY secure.

if it shows ANY risk of coming loose ot you roping etc is not up to it you will be fined etc.

a roof rack is purpose built for this and if you fix it to one of these are unlikely to get stopped unless of course it is plain to see you have failed to secure to the roof rack properly.

it's really a matter of common sense. never mind that others may have got away with illegal carrying trust your own judgement after all its you who Will have to pay the penalty.

I think you have common sense after all you have taken the time and trouble to  ask! (personally I would always use a roof rack)

  2. You're not serious, right?

  3. Sure.........you can do whatever you what to do, have fun ?????????????

  4. Only if you have a pint in your hand while you're sitting in the chair. Oh, and the car has to be doing at least 90.

  5. You can tie the chair to the car, but don't try sitting in it while the car is moving.
