Is it legal to trade a riding lawn mower for a moped?

i want to get a moped, but i don't have much money to buy it, but i have a riding lawn mower that runs great and i did a lot of tune-up to make it perfect and i want to know if it is legal to trade it for a moped...anybody know?

yes, but the dealer may not be interested in making the trade.

Yes. But only if the dealer accepts the lawn mower as a trade in. Chances are slim that he will unless he sells mowers or has a pawn shop. He needs to have an outlet to sell the mower or he won't be interested in buying it from you.

There is certainly nothing illegal about bartering a lawn mower for a scooter.
