Is it less expensive to fly from Madrid to Mallorca or from Barcelona to Ibiza?

Hello I was curious which place is better Ibiza or Mallorca I heard Mallorca is mostly for families and Ibiza is for singles but I am on a budget and will be traveling alone so if Mallorca is less expensive then I will go to Mallorca. But is it cheaper to fly from Barcelona to these places or Madrid, also airfare price is important round trip in mid September. Thanks last but not least how will the weather and beach water tempature be during the month of September?

From Barcelona you have the option of a flight or the ferry to both islands.

From Madrid just the flight options.

You´ll have to check the flight prices individually with the airlines: Iberia, Air Europa, Spanair, Easyjet, Air Berlin and Vueling

Mid september temp wise its warm but not stinking hot and the kids have gone back to school so its a bit quieter. Mid september is when the tourist season finishes so if you´re looking for nightlife it´ll be a good bit quieter than normal.

Water will be nice and warm...

Ibiza San antonio is cheap. Mallorca El Arenal is cheap

I haven't looked from Barcelona, but you can change the cities on the website.

The weather should be warm and lovely at that time of year - i think for a young single Ibiza is the best bet for you.
