I consider littering from the standpoint of what is environmentally safe, and what does not cause a distraction.
To me, natural produce is not littering. Really thowing a banana hull down is not littering. However, for a professionally kept lawn, i would consider it littering and distastful. While i would consider small pieces of paper as litter, small pieces of orange peel, i would not consider litter unless it caused a distraction or looked like trash.
So to me, if i throw out green grapes on a green lawn that is not littering. It is all natural, it will not smell and it doesn't distract. If i had lettuce with no articifical products on it, and i throw it on the ground that is not littering because it is a PLAIN LEAF! The stem that grapes come on is not littering either, waht is the difference between it and a twig?
However, i understand that the law of the land may not make appropriate distinctions so I post this question--what exactly is LITTERING???
