Is it long distance???

if you call from a house phone to a cell phone or the other way and you are on the same state but different city is it long distance or not??? please help i need to know fast

I believe it will depend on the cell company you are using. In my case if I receive a call anywhere in North America from somebody who is calling from my local calling area there is no long distance for either of us. But, if I call from outside my local exchange to home, it is long distance. You will have to check with a cell phone company, I have seen some advertising no long distance charges.
