  1. nope!! You can go any where the adults go unless in is in the adult retereat.

  2. We just got back from our first cruise and I can tell you, No it's not required.  Our 16 year old hung out at the teen "club" and met a group of people the first night.  The rest of the cruise they hung out, not really doing any of the teen activities.

Our 14 year old, just did her own thing.  Only went to the club once and didn't care for it.  She found lots to do to keep herself busy and having a good time.

With that being said, many adults took part in activities designed for them...people vacation in different ways and cruises allow for that freedom...no matter what age group

  3. No, it's not mandatory! Or if it is for the particular cruise you're going on, go but don't spend any time with the "youth group". (God I hate that phrase.)

  4. No it is not.  You can roam around like the adults, with the adults, or by yourself, or with friends you make onboard.

  5. It's not mandatory to do anything on a cruise.  That being said, why not try out the youth program for a day or two instead of fighting it.  You will probably meet some cool people and have fun time, instead of being by yourself for the whole week because you think that you're too cool for the youth programs.
