I'm looking to apply to the University of Alberta to start the 2 year pre-dental program, but I have not taken Physics 20 or 30. Is this bad? Will I not be able to get in? I have taken Bio and Chem 30 as well as English 30-1, Social Studies 30, and Math Pure 30, and have maintained 88-95% averages in each subject.

  1. You will be required to take Physics 20 and 30 or the equivalent before taking the Physics course that will count for pre-med.

If you are still in high school, it would be a VERY good idea for you to take high school physics. Only the University of Alberta admissions office can tell you if the lack of high school physics will prevent your being admitted.
