  1. if you look close at the swastika you will realize it is a cross...albeit a twisted cross...designed by equally twisted minds.

the problem is this... as the years pass...people forget..and become complacent, The swastika in its self is not evil...the deep danger and horror is in what and who it represents.

In 1945 as allied troops over ran the concentration camps in Germany and Poland,  General Dwight D Eisenhower, Supreme Allied commander, Allied expeditionary forces mandated that his officers and also local citizens see for them selves the horror of the camps, this is well documented by film.. he very accurately predicted then,  that at some point in the future people would come to doubt it really happened.

  2. Unfortunately some people don't know what the swastika stand s for, though I do believe it was a sign for peace before the n**i's appropriated it.Others  even more unfortunately, do know what it stands for and think they're being clever in using it and trying to stir up criticism. Just ignore it.

  3. No, you're not being over sensitive.

I was brought up believing the swastika was a bad thing.

Yes, it is sickening and offensive, but that's obviously his idea - to provoke.

  4. You could be being a little over sensitive, maybe even narrow minded in the respect that you are taking offence because of what YOU associate the symbol with which isn't necessarily the same as the person who is using it.

Yes there is a very well documented association between the swastika and Third Reich, however it is a Neolithic symbol associated with luck. It has also long been widely used in major world religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.

I would like to make it clear that I don't know the person that s using this symbol and their reasons for using it, but did you stop to think that the person may be Hindu and their intentions Honourable?.

So many problems in this world are caused by ignorance, and it may just be your ignorance of what the symbol is that is casing you to take offence.

  5. Yes it is offensive. That is his or her aim.

That same person "the fuhrer" also copied and cloned my name and avatar picture for a while yesterday.

  6. yes it is offensive to me and so is your language

  7. Hey hey there, calm down. The guy is using the old meaning of Swastika.

  8. I've never seen any one with that as an avatar but yes, it is very inappropriate and probably only a very poorly educated person would use it.

  9. I agree it's extremely offensive but it's meant to be.  There are some very strange people around on the site at the moment.

  10. nasty  and so silly

  11. Wow, youre not oversensitive, Ive had a couple "physical altercations" over the use of the swastika....and it was a Celtic peace symbol, represented fertility and womanhood if Im not mistaken...womanhood and n***s, go figure...

  12. Agree. You are not being oversensitive at all.

  13. Am I the only one with spell checker?

  14. yes i saw that

    inappropriate

    what a t**t eh ?

  15. I think its just you, its just designed to shock and you noticed it and gave the response he wanted.

  16. I agree. He is trying to claim that people don't understand the swastika's history and therefore we are being ignorant, but given the fact that his swastika yesterday carried a picture of Hitler alongside it I think he's talking cr@p. He's obviously trying to get a rise out of people.

  17. It is highly inappropriate.

  18. No you are not over sensetive, either the scum bag using it is unaware of What it stands for,or has a short memory. It is sickening and offensive .Good on you for pointing it out, I hope he/she gets the message.

  19. You are right Sat 5, the swastika or any other symbol of mastery over another is offensive.

  20. I agree totally with you Saturn, I find the use of the swastika as an avatar  highly offensive. The user obviously wants a reaction so as opted to use the swastika as his avatar pic.

I just feel sorry for the ignorant fool because he/she are missing out on  meeting some fantastic people who are all nationalities and hold different religious beliefs. We should pity these fools, as they are social outcasts and lets  face it they are not very bright.

  21. the same scum bag moron who laughed and cackled and jeered at my daughters passing last week,

  22. I agree it is inappropriate. The symbol is much older but sadly, it is for its links with facism it willbe remembered.

  23. I agree, but after what I saw on here for the last week or so it doesnt surprise me one  little bit.

  24. it is easy to just ignore the questions when you see this avatar

if it offends you ignore it....

it is intended to be provocative

  25. Whenever I see avatars depicting the swastika or Hitler I just assume its been chosen by some young plop who wants to shock / offend but doesn't actually know why either images do shock / offend!

  26. Is it me being overly sensitive, or do other people feel that there is a time and place for using foul terms for genitalia - and YA! certainly isn't it?

  27. I agree totally with the question. I would guess that its a younger user who was not born when WW2 even finished or even years later otherwise they would show more respect for the millions of brave men and women who gave their lives to exterminate this evil flag and its murderous beliefs.

  28. p**s off you sad t**t its just an avitar get a life

  29. oh saturn5, whats with you today, name calling isnt your style ..is it .....

  30. could not put it better myself.they should not be allow on this site.
