Is it me or are food item packages in grocery stores smaller than they used to be?

even just a couple of years ago.

Coke cans look smaller, cereal packages definitely are smaller, candy bars are smaller, etc..but while the items get smaller the prices have gone through the roof.

What are the implications of this smaller items but higher prices contradiction??

Its true! companoes realize that they could save money by packging items in smaller cases, and then they fiugure they wont have to raise the prices sooo much!
