Im 22 so it's not like Im old and dont understand but I heard a song on the radio today " I kissed a girl and I liked it" sung by a female. Males wear the tightest jeans I've ever seen with that stupid long hair half over their face. I know Im old school and I hardly ever listen to the radio (point proven today) It just seems like whatever kid Disney finds our kids eat them up. Has it always been this way and I havent noticed?

  1. LMAO at all the offended teenagers! The reality is that they are preparing themselves for their future in life. If they follow the trends like sheep, they are destined to be followers and serviceworkers. If they are the trendsetters themselves, they will be leaders (which most of them are NOT). This is just how it is going to be, ugly or not. Personally, I can't stand the skinny jeans and antisocial outfits they come up with nowadays and most of them can't pull it off at all.

  2. no its just you i am a teen and i love my sense of fashion and music. i think that is just your opinion not the truth.

  3. Pros: Kids can be heroin addicts

Cons: Only if you don't get a tax deduction. They don't share

Conclusion: Only have kids if you like watching paint dry

  4. I have no sense of fasion at all, I wear loose jeans and a white tank , however, I agree with you. Today's children have gone down the hole. Disney is a big thing, too. It's getting them  hooked on the media way too early. Now the 3 year olds care nothing more than to watch Miley Cirus sing crappy songs. Today's music is c**p. Rap? Hip-Hop? R&B? No, it's called c**p.

  5. It's a different generation, what we grew up listening to is what we grew up liking. Personally, I don't like half of the songs that come out today either, like lollipop? I mean seriously, an you get any sicker? But I do like I kissed a girl, mainly because it sfunny and catchy. The tight jeans on men are just a fad I guess. Bell bottoms? Afros? I mean comeon you cannot tell me afros were cute. It was just a fad basically. The next generations going to be wearing different things, listening to different music, and behaving differently its just the way it is. Things change around. I guess it's like what we're used to. Like here's an example. My aunt was born in greece and moved to India when she was like four. I guess they don't really have pizza in India because when she came to America for thef irst time, she HATED pizza because she wasn't used to it. That's the same thing to you, your not used to the music we listen to so you don't like it. But again personally I'm 13 and I prefer to listen to like Elvis and the Beatles, they are SO much better.

  6. Oh neither of those are disney things

    those are retarted people things

im 16 and i dress like a normal person, and i listen to normal music

the creepy scenesters (the proper name fpor the skinyn jean people you described) are just that-creepy, and are regarded so by many of their peers

i'm a girl and i have a pair of skinny jeans but they arent like super tight like some of the guys i have seen wearing them, and i have a good figure so they actually compliment it

  7. nah they are driven by trends and that makes lemmings.

  8. I'm 21 and I TOTALLY agree... stuff wasnt like this when we were young... unless we were oblivious and brain washed too!! The radio is c**p and those skin tight jeans are gross... there are little kids (like 6 yr olds) wearing them! I dont think its always been this way and if it has then the trends from our days were at least more appealing!

  9. Eurgh skinny Jeans...I hate them.

I hate Disney stuff like High School Musical ,Hannah Montana etc..

The long hair on boys is stupid too.

    I agree with you totally (I'm 14)

Some of the things described as "fashion" make people look tarty or just plain ridiculous.

And the music, well I listen to dance and stuff but most the teens where I like listen to that remixed rave stuff where people scream down the microphone.

  10. I'm fifteen and I think those kids have no sense of style.  And Disney does not have anything to do with that stuff.

  11. Each year goes thru different stages, im 22 and have a totally different fashion sense and music likings to my 17yr old brother...our parents could say the same...well mine do...they dont like my fashion or music as they grew uo in a different era just like my daughter will prob have some outragous fashion sense when she gets older but times change and ppl change with times its just that we like wot wer used to

  12. Lol, well I'm older than you but not by to much, and I think it depends on the style trend the teen decides to go with. The skinny jeans........accckkkk those are very gross, for boys and girls, give them back to the 80's!!!! The shaggy do is ok on some boys, but not all. I would like to see less short shorts and less cleavage myself in young girls, summer seems to let it all hang out with no shame. As for music, lol I have no idea what they listen to these days I like what I like, and try not to follow trends!!!!

But I will admit that the teen girls fashion today is prettier and fresher looking then when I was a teen. The heavy make up is gone, and the ugly mary janes.

  13. yea its just you.

  14. But are the drainpipe jeans any better> It's all about opinion and fashion changes with time, maybe you need to appreciate our time a bit more and live in the moment.
