Is it me or do many people follow you too closely in traffic? 3 lanes of travel & most wont go 2 another lane.

why do people insist on going so fast? they seem like they want to push you to go faster, and for the life of me they just cant make up their minds and choose another lane to travel in. ( go around)

What really gets me is when there is virtually no traffic on the road and the clown passes you, then pulls over 2 car lengths in front of you.  Why can't they stay in the other lane until there's a reasonably safe distance between you?  I usually pull out into the lane they just abandoned until they're safely ahead of me, then pull back over.  

I also can't stand when traffic is light, but everyone is bunched together in a suicide pack.  No cars for half a mile or more in either direction, and 8 or 10 cars running a few feet apart, because nobody can set their own speed.  People just don't understand defensive driving.  Then they wonder why tehy were in a 6 car pileup...

You're not alone. This happens to me all the time. Usually I wait and let the speed demon pass. If they don't, then they have no right to get upset with you for driving at a speed that's comfortable for you.
