Is it me or do some of the time Warner cable commercial are annoying?

They all are annoying to me.  Mostly because they are filled with "glittering generalities" and half truths.  Time Warner is getting desperate . . .

Cable companies are really struggling now.  Most of them are sitting on aging infrastructures, are going to have to make huge investments to upgrade their systems to handle digital and are facing increasing competition from satellite providers and new players like ATT, Verizon, etc.  Add to that, many cities are now allowing competing cable companies to come into the same areas along side existing cable companies.  

Twenty years ago, people had their choice of one cable company - the one that served their area.  Now they can choose from may sources.  Good for the consumer, but more difficult for the cable company . . .
