Is it me or has there been some bad sportsmanship this year?

i mean america was whining b/c they lost the gold to china in gymnastics then another guy throws down his medal b/c he didn't get gold and a tennis player has a temper tantrum on the court b/c he lost as well. and let's not talk a/b spain's basketball team. this is supposed be both competitive and fun among the world's best athletes. wouldn't it be nice if they had good manners as well.

Blame it on testosterone.  It makes people testy.

When it comes to sportsmanship, women are so much better at it than men.

I agree, this year the Olympic games are full of disapointment and deceit.  I'm not even compelled to watch.

I think there's always a little of that going on.  It's disappointing, but it happens.   I think it spoils a lot of the joy for we fans though.  It's too bad . . . what I wouldn't have given to be able to simply participate.
