  1. Depends what kind of job you want. If it's a minimum wage job like fast food places, they're always looking for teenagers and there's a ton of job openings. But an actually decent job, yes it's hard especially you don't have any experience.

  2. omg i agree i cannot find one! :|

  3. I dont know if you noticed this but this generation has no work ethic so most likely they had a bad employee or a few or a dozed S****y high schoolers plus the economy is suckin right now.

  4. Yes your absolutely right. All of the old people are taking are jobs. I seriously cannot find a job. I got turned down from a dishwashing job because I had no job experience in it, even though I have washed dished at my home all my life. It's so messed up. But I finally after months and months of looking found a job at noodles and company making a measly 7.50/hr. But it's a good job for now. But I'm telling you the only reason I got that job is because I was friends with the manager.

Ashy I couldn't agree with you anymore. How the h**l can we have experience when no one will hire us because we have no experience. It's so retarded.

Oh yeah.. In January I got an interview with Price Chopper. The interview went great and he said he'd give me a call back. The ****** never called me after 3 days so I called up there and he told me that they had hired a man who previously worked there because he had more experience. He left price chopper to go to boot camp and when he came back he needed a job so price chopper hired him. They told me they would offer me a job were I could sack bags part time for 5.50/hr and I told him to shove it up his *** and then I hung up.

  5. Definitely harder, because of the economy.

  6. Everyone wants experience too...ugh!

  7. I totally understand. Especially where I live (Vail) because it's off season right now and NO ONE is hiring for the summer. People get laid off around here during off season. It is so stupid. Teenagers need money too!

  8. Most places don't take people that are under 16 and even if you are 16 its soooooo hard to find a job...no experience i guess...but sure if no where takes you because you have no experience how are you going to get experence?Big vicious circle...

  9. Your exactly right! It has taken me almost a year to get an interview! That still doesnt even guarantee me the job! It's really annoying aswell when so many teenagers are willing to go out and earn some money and most employers wont even give them a second look!!

  10. It's getting harder for anyone to find a job. My mother has been out of work for a long time but has to go back by november. She has applied countless times to countless places and maybe one call back, only to tell her no luck.
