Is it me or the cops here in nyc are looking younger and younger? also..

alot of them that i see now look morbidly obeest. Did the nypd lower their standards or something when it comes to hiring new police officers? for instance i saw a cop last week he looked like he was about 17 years old and he had his uniform pants hanging down his butt.

They are not getting younger, we are getting older.  lol.

Yes, the standards are not as stringent as they once were.  They still have to pass the required physical testing, but nothing can keep them that way once they are out of the academy.  As to the clothes, well, just ask them where their pride of the uniform is.  Today's youth do not have that same pride, and I have seen it dwindle in most academies.

Lol, yep... or maybe it's us, ya know the older we get, the younger other people look.

...Funny story about that... I work for 911 and we got a call from a lady saying she saw some suspicious behavior. She saw what she thought to be a 15 year old kid driving a police car and he picked up this young girl on the corner. The lady was p*ssed because she thought this was definitely not right.

Turns out it was one of our officers who is allowed to regularly take his car home when he is not working. He is 25 years old. He and his 25 year old fiancee were just switching the cars around in the driveway. They have a very long driveway, so after they switched the cars & parked one out on the street, he just picked her up at the end of the driveway.
