To the question yes since she had no choice in the matter. Thing is though those situations make up 1% of all abortions.

Yes, even if her life is in danger, she still has a chance to live.  The baby doesn't.  

We're looking out for the innocent life.  Once the baby's born, he's a sinner (born in sin) and he can make choices. He has none in the womb..

That's deep. I guess the hardest part is knowing the child is 50% hers. Perhaps that's the percentage someone who decides to go ahead with the birth focuses on. The child's not to blame. Neither is the victim.

The law should allow for hearings in which the facts are brought forward.  Then the verdict should be as the law proscribes.   If the law allows an exception for incest or  rape, and it is determined that one of those actually happened, then the abortion is allowed.

The important thing is that we bring the facts into the open and not allow carte blanch abortion rights on the  possibility of rape or the allegation of rape.

These are the few times when I believe abortion should be an option. The worst part is if a woman does give birth to a child after being raped the father (rapist) can challenge parenting rights in court.

I don't think that a woman should have to bear a child if she will likely die if she does so.  In this case, the choice truly is between the life of the child and that of the mother (unlike in most cases of abortion).  She is the only one who should make that call for herself. Incest/rape are situations where the woman has no choice in whether she becomes pregnant.  As much as I believe that abortion in most cases is morally wrong, I couldn't put someone through something like that. If they want to give birth to the child, the community should support that decision as well. We need to get more information out there to the public about the morning after pill so that women can get the help they need after rape, before pregnancy occurs.  Please note that the majority of abortions do not occur under these circumstances, and I am against abortion in all other cases. I say that we need to create a society wherein women would be able to have children and care for them without fear of losing their educational futures, etc. Many women I've known how have had abortions did so because they were told that their lives would be over if they had a child. What kind of society treats women and children like that?

In my personal opinion, i think it's completely amoral to have to abort the child. The only time abortion should happen is if the mother is in danger. However, abortion is officially the woman's choice and you can do little to stop them.
