People have been experimenting on animals for hundreds of years. The first reason for animal experimentation was to learn more about animals. But now we are testing cosmetic products on them. I do not think that this is acceptable. Animals should not be experimented on for scientific purposes. But, this is my opinion. I'm wondering what others think about this issue. Do you think it is morally acceptable to experiment on non-human animals?

  1.  I believe it is completely unacceptable to test on animals. They have feelings too, just like humans. Also the affects on animals are rarely the same as they are on humans. I would not sacrifice my dog for someone elses well-being. My dog is part of the family, she is smarter than a 3 year old child. And she knows when you are sad/happy. Animals comfort you. They are intelligent, so i dont see why it ever would be acceptable to test on them.
