Is it more expensive to repair a keyboard on site rather than have it sent away?

most music shops will send an electronic keyboard away somewhere to be repaired. This usually takes extra time. There are also some places who will repair their keyboards in house. These places are very few. I was wondering who would be cheaper?

If you go to them, it might not cost much more. If they come to you, it will cost much more 'cos they gotta come out and do it for you!
