much much less. Just look at the price of apartments to rent on craigslist for ex.

Rent is much cheaper in Montreal. I don't think there's a big difference for other things.

Montreal is way cheaper, and a h**l of a lot nicer. Toronto is a giant concrete grey dump!

Montreal has culture and nature!

By the way, I am not from either city. But I have visited both numerous times and Montreal is by far the best.
