I have a Alpine CD player in my car, and lately, I put in my CD's, which are not totally unscratched, but they skip, or if I ride on ruff road they skip!

does this make sence?

how do I clean the CD player in car, its a dash 1 CD at a time player.

do I need a new player?

or do I just need to clean it?

thanks!

I clean the CDs all the time but its pissing me off!

  1. I think your player has a problem.  Good luck

  2. The CDs can get warped by being in the car in the heat.

Your CD can be cleaned; it's easy because it is just a cleaning disk that clears the laser.

Test the CDs that are being bad on another player to see if your CDs are good or not.

I hope it just needs cleaning.

  3. Cars and CD players don't mix.

It is like playing an old vynal record on a record player in the car.

  4. You can buy CDs that are special cleaners that go in your player. They have little brushes on them. Try that. :)

  5. Take your CD's and insert them in another player, if they do not skip, the problem is with the Car CD Player.

  6. go to walmart and purchase a CD cleaning disk, this worked for mine, it's for cleaning CD players, they say dust and stuff builds up on Lazar sensors after a while. this disk worked for me.
