Question:

Is it my camera, or the USB cord?

When I connect my camera to my computer through the USB cord, I have to either push the cord in a little into the slot or I have to tilt the camera in a certain way for it to read that it's connected to the computer.

I can have the camera connected to the computer, but the camera/computer won't read each other.

Do I need a new cord, or should I get the camera looked at?

  1. Get a card reader, they are cheap and very handy to use. You would put the card from your camera in the reader and open the reader as a drive in MyComputer, then also open MyDocuments/MyPictures and drag and drop your photos into the

    file.

  2. It will cost money just to get the camera looked at!

Ask around first to see if anybody can lend you a cable.

    Test that first.

  3. Well check the USB endings and see if there is any dust or stuff.........Your camera should light up if you connect it and if it doesn't it the camera  by 80%
