Is it my throttle body sensor or crank shaft sensor?

My '04 impala dies after it gets really hot, but will start right back up. We've narrowed it down to crank shaft sensor or throttle body sensor. Which would it be or not be and why? No codes show up when we run a scan test.

On an 04 with an OBD2 computer you would get a SES light if it was a sensor.
