Is it my waters/amniotic fluid ???? please help !!!!?

Question

im 34 weeks pregnant...

today in work i went to the toilet and noticed my pants were rather wet - and even part of my trousers below were abit damp like it went thru to them aswell

now i dont feel like im leaking, and its not coming out like dripping or anything when i stand up - like you cant c it coming out of me

but thorughout the day obviously it somehow has got rather wet - not like discharge, like water u know...

could it be my amniotic fluid? it doesnt smell like urine as i heard that some women leak urine without noticing

???

but im not having regular contractions or anything ...

answers greatly appreciated !

I definitely think you need to call your Dr. It can be urine without smelling like urine, the baby could have moved down and shifted and pushed on your bladder causing you to pee a little. That happened to me when I was pregnant. I wouldn't try to self diagnose though, I think you should def. get a Dr's opinion. Hope I helped a little.

Usually if your water breaks it will gush out.  The baby will plug it again so it may gush out a few times.  I do not think your water broke.

When I was about 34 wks, I had a similar 'scare'.  It WAS urine!!  I went to the hospital and everything.  It was pee.  It was clear, it was a lot, I did not feel it coming out, it did not smell.  But it was pee.

But at around 40 weeks my water did break and there is a big difference.  If it was your water breaking, I promise you would not be here posting about it, you would just know.

I may just be alot of discharge. I know I go through a few pairs of panties daily because of discharge.

But I would go see the doctor, or call and ask. At 34 weeks, youre so close but you still dont want to take any chances. =)

The same thing happened to me yesterday!!!!  I even went to the hospital.

I was cleaning the house all day yesterday and had to change my undies 3 times!!!!  Even showed dampness on my shorts.  That's when I decided to go to the hospital.  

They did a little test and said nope you’re not leaking.

This is what happened to be.  The nurse did say over and over that I did the right thing by getting it checked.  So if you think you’re leaking GET IT CHECKED!!!  Much better safe then sorry.

The nurse said this happens to alot of woman.  It's not urine it's just extra lube that your body is making and can be confused with your water leaking.

I went through the same exact thing! it was so frustrating, i was constantly worrying. I had discharge, but it was extremely fluidy (lol I don't know how else to discribe it.) I went through this my last month of pregnancy, and worsened as I got closer to delivery. It was odorless, although when I used panty liners, It was hard for me to determine if it was a sweet smell from the liners, or the liquid. I went to the emergency room, they said it was only urine. no smell at all though. I would suggest calling your doctor, wouldn't hurt at all just to check. But I had the same thing happen to me, and everything was fine. He arrived a week after his due date. My only problem was I had contractions for 1 month straight before he actually arrived! I was worried sick, but everything turned out okay. good luck.
