  1. the pic dosent work

  2. soo your link isnt necessarily working.

  3. I think it's more his stance than anything else.  He has that great cresty neck, on top of the fact that he looks like he's just been brought to an abrupt halt.  He is definetely not long backed by any stretch of the imagination, but I think if we could see a "normal" untacked photo of this (gorgeous) guy, he'd look better.  Iberian breeds do tend to have shorter backs, though - very different from warmbloods.

I am so biased when it comes to andalusians and lusitanos...I am trying to find faults with his confo, but all my brain is telling me is, "Oooh, he's puuurdy!"  ;)  Sorry.  No glaring faults are jumping out at me, though it's kind of hard to tell with his tack and his stance.

  4. the link does not work

  5. yeh that is just the shape of the breed, like short horses have longer bodies and this one has a shorter body (quite good for high school dressage -Piaffe, passage) they are breed for that dressage and traditional riding there shape helps with there movement for the high school dressage they are breed for

  6. Sorry, I got "remote link forbidden" message, so I can't view your horse.  Other people might have this problem also, thus restricting your answers.

  7. uh sorry.i would totally answer this question..only the link says its forbidden.. SORRY

i will come back and edit..

  8. He does have a short back but that is common for baroque breeds and not a "flaw" just part of their conformation. He is a nice looking horse with a well placed neck. The saddle hides most of him so I can not say much more than that...

  9. Ditto the above, link doesn't work.

As far as short bodied - my 16.2hh TB x ID is very short, wearing a 6ft rug. It causes his no problems, sometimes a short back makes for a stronger horse.

  10. It appears something is wrong with the link you provided. It says REMOTE LINK FORBIDDEN. Maybe you'd like to send a new link to my email with your concerens. I'd be happy to assist you.

  11. As I assume you already heard your link doesn't work. I'll check in soon!

  12. link is dead

  13. wtf is wrong with the pic?

  14. Sorry, but the link you added doesn't work, it says it's forbidden or something . Would you mind putting the pic on again? Thanx in advance, I'll come back later and answer the question if you provide another link.

  15. Here is a website that tells you about the conformation of that type of horse.  I personally do not think that horse is too short bodied.

A good rule of thumb that I learned in horse judging for FFA is the a horse should be able to be split into thirds and in half.  Not including the head and neck.  The shoulder, barrel, and rumb should all be of equal size in length.  The head should be as long as the neck, and the legs should be as long as the horse from its withers to the beginning of it fore leg.  It is kinda weird and not easy to see but if you pull out a tape measure, you   might be surprised.

  16. Your link doesnt work
