I seem to have many spots/zits all over my mid-drift and chest. As I am that age, is that natural, or should acne only be on your face?

Thanks in advance.

  18. Acne also occurs on the rest of the body, not just your face. Make sure you're taking enough showers and I suggest using an exfoliating body wash for oily to extra oily skin, depending on your preference. There are also brands who make body washes specifically for this kind of problem. If you're looking for a drugstore brand of body wash, try Neutrogena. Other brands include OXY, Murad, Perfect Purity, Acne Complex, and ZENMED.

Bar soap will probably dry you out. But hey, if you get desperate... "Desperate times call for desperate measures." Just remember you're looking for exfoliating. Again, brands make soaps for this problem, including Neutrogena.

  19. Acne can be anywhere on the upper body, whether it's the face, chest, back, or shoulders.

it can also be on the lower body, like the thighs or pelvic area, but that's less common.

most people have a combination of all of those. it doesn't have to be isolated to one area of the body.

and if you're anywhere between 12-18, then yes, it's very normal, because your hormones are still adjusting, which causes zits for a lot of people.

  20. Both chest, neck and back are very common sites for acne. It is treated in much the same way, but because of the difficulty in applying and using topical preparations in these larger areas, most doctors chose to give oral antibiotics such as lymecycline or minocycline.
