Is it necessary and cheaper to bring my own snorkeling equipment to Play Del Carmen?

Do most places provide the equipment in the package deal?

Snorkel gear is usually included in most all-inclusive resorts. Check the resorts website or call the resort. If they do provide, bring your own mask and mouth piece. More santitary and better fit.

I always take my own set with me.I take goggles instead of a mask to save both space and weight in my bag plus the lightest,most efficient and  flexible fins I could find.I also pack  a quality snorkle.Together they add little weight and don't take up any more room than a pair of pants.I'm not so worried about using rental equipment as I am about insuring a comfortable fit.

my husband always brings his own...they don't supply flippers.....

its not necessary, if ur gonna stay in an all inclusive hotel they can borrow u an equipment 4 a certain time, if not, u can pay 4 it but its not expensive, if u prefer not 2 share the snorkel with other ppl then bring ur own :)
