  1. I would think so.  If you don't like who you are then how is it possible to be truly happy.  We could always put on a front and pretend to be happy and then when we get by ourselves the true "us" comes out.  So yes, you do have to like yourself in order to lead a happy life.

  2. Yes because otherwise they won't appreciate it as much.

  3. Yes...................daily ............all ....your ...........life

  4. i believe ayn rand once said 'there are so many things more important in life than happiness.'

you can be an amazing, accomplished person and still not be satisfied with yourself.  or you can be a vapid troll and be completely happy.

  5. Does one have to like one's self to be happy?

Well, I think that one would have to like the current state of being.  I don't think that one would have to like everything one has done, or everywhere that on has been in life.  It is possible to hate things about oneself, but truly like one's current state of being.  Happiness in in the moment, and to be in the moment purely, one would have to remove the thought of if they like the self and think as to what they state of being in the moment is.

No, one does not have to like one's self to be happy, or to even have a happy life.  One must learn to overcome one's self, or ignore one's self, or even remove one's self from self to lead a pure happy life.

I don't think this brings clarity to this question though.  Happy life ... ?  Liking the self ... ?  Perceivably these should align.  If happiness is found, be it with like or dislike for the self, happiness is found.
