  1. Not necessarily. Since most people use graphite shafts on their drivers and woods and steel on their irons, sometimes the flex of shafts you use can vary slightly. Just make sure you get them professionally fit and you should be ok.


  2. It Is Not. Shaft Flex Has To Do With Your Swing Spped, You Can Get It Measured By A Golfsmith. Also Alot Of Times What Flex It Says On The Shaft Isnt Actually What The Actual Flex Is, A Golfsmith Has A Flex Board That Will Tell The True Flex Of A Given Shaft.  Good Luck To Ya.
