  1. The return for FY 2006-07 were submitted with Form 16 attached.

    With return for FY 2007-08, Form 16 are not attached.

    So it is possible that IT Department may still want you to attach Form 16 with FY 2006-07 return. Also you will pay Rs. 5,000 late filing penalty.


  2. No - not necessary; but if you are filing through post offices allowed to do so, then you need to attached them.
