  1. hi, yes you do, think there,s a government website which you can practise theory an hazard perception test.

  2. A full UK Theory Test includes 50 theory questions (need 43/50 questions correct to pass) and also a hazard perception test -14 x 1 minute clips (need 44% of a possible 75 pts to pass).  Both tests have to be passed at the same time. Hope this helps.

  3. The answer is Yes.

You will definately need to pass the hazard perception test, because you may not be aware, But both test results are provided seperately.

Score for the Theory questions = Your score

Score for the Perception Clips =  Your Score

You will need to Pass both parts, and the test is difficult. Someone kept telling me that it was easy, so I therefore sat back and failed twice. (3rd time lucky) It was actually said by a Driving Instructor with over 4 years experience and had been driving for over 20 years.

You need to sit upright and be very focussed. The clips start at 5 points, then go 4,3,2,1,0. This is fully dependant on how late you notice them.

If you email me (via my profile page)

I will send you the exact scores and criteria.
